Godmakers by Enrique Acosta, a new play spanning 40 years in the life of a small comic book company, runs July 11-27 at the Empty Space Theatre in Bakersfield, California. An art show will be held in conjunction with the production, with examples of Dale Berry's work on display.
Godmakers opens Friday, July 11 at 8 PM at the Empty Space Theatre, 706 Oak Street, Bakersfield, California. The show continues July 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26 at 8 PM, with Sunday matinees at 2 PM on July 13, 20, and 27.
The art show, Comics!, runs fom July 12-27. The opening is July 12, from 4-7 PM. Food and wine will be served. Dale will appear live at the opening to give demonstrations of comic book art.
The Empty Space Theatre is a non-profit organization that showcases the work of local artists and artists with a Bakersfield history.
